The
MISS Foundation, an Arizona-based international non-profit organization
with a staff of dedicated volunteers, comes to the aid of thousands of
families who have experienced the heartbreak of child death. Our
outreach in the community includes support groups for adults and
children, crisis intervention, one-on-one counseling services, retreats
and a network of ancillary groups that work together to provide
assistance to parents, siblings and grandparents.
The
MISS Foundation is hosting its Third Annual Kindness Walk and Safety
Fair on Bereaved Parent’s Day - May 19,2013. Our event will be located
downtown at the Cesar Chavez Plaza between Washington and Jefferson
Streets at Second Avenue.
The MISS Foundation is asking for your help with a financial sponsorship or an in-kind donation.
Your
contribution is tax-deductible (EIN 86-0968201). In appreciation of
your generous donation, we will be honored to appreciate your
organization on the MISS Foundation website, Facebook page,in our
bi-monthly newsletter and at our event. Also, if you act before April
20, 2013, your logo will be on our walk t-shirts and on a banner
displayed prominently at the Kindness Walk and Safety Fair.
We
invite you to come to the event to provide your information. Vendor
tables are free with your donation. Join us in celebration of the
love, kindness and support that continues gracefully and with pride by
parents who continue to love and honor their children who have gone too
soon. We are planning a fun event that celebrates the lives of those
children gone to soon while providing potentially life-saving education.
