Our outreach in the community includes support groups for adults and children, crisis intervention, one-on-one counseling services, retreats, and a network of ancillary groups that work together to provide assistance to parents, siblings and grandparents.

One of the event's Kindness Project's is called Beautiful Soles, and will take place during the walk. Here, families will donate new or gently used shoes, and adorn the shoes with a legacy message in honor of their beloved child. The Beautiful Soles will then be donated to local organizations that serve needy children: The legacy of our beloved children will literally walk on in another child.
Please join the Kindness Revolution!

Dear Mr. Sansone:
Thank you for contacting me to share your views regarding S. 1358, the Parental Bereavement Act of 2011.  I appreciate knowing your thoughts on this issue.
As you may know, S. 1358 would expand the Family and Medical Leave act of 1993 to allow for up to 12 workweeks of unpaid leave due to the death of a son or daughter. This bill was introduced in the Senate on July 13, 2011 and was referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP). As a member of the Senate HELP Committee, please be assured that I will keep your concerns in mind should this legislation be considered in the full Senate.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views.  Please feel free to contact me on this or any other matter of concern.
Sincerely,
John McCain
United States Senator
