National Children s Memorial Day

JOIN US

Join us as we remember all children gone too soon. Northern Hills Community Church is located at 2740 E Union Hills Dr Phoenix, Az 85050.

The event will begin promptly at 630pm with beautiful music and touching words. At 7pm the memorial candle will be lit and everyone will then light there own candle and say their child's name.

Following the service a Dessert Social will occur. The MISS Memorial Wall will be on display. You are invited to bring memorial items and pictures to share of your beloved child. www.missfoundation.org

NationalChildren's Memorial Day happens every year on the second Sunday of December and is observed internationally. Families around the world light candles at 7 p.m. in their corresponding time zones. As candles burn down in one time zone, they are lighted in the next, creating a 24-hour wave of light that encircles the globe. This remembrance ceremony provides the world with lit candles for an entire 24 hour period in order to honor the children we have lost, the children who lived and died, and who, even in death, continue to matter.

This year's National Children's Memorial Day is on

Republicans Seize Senate, Gaining Full Control of Congress

"For too long, this administration has tried to tell the American people what is good for them and then blame somebody else when their policies didn't work out," Mitch McConnell, who is expected to become the next Senate majority leader, said in a victory speech.

Which Way ??

Ceiling Fan Direction ?

Which way should you spin during the summer or winter?

picture of ceiling fan direction in winter and summer

"OK...so the most common technical question that people ask regarding ceiling fans is "What direction should my fan spin during the summer and winter" and "Why?"

"During the summer you want the fan to blow air straight down, so your ceiling fan needs to run in a counter clockwise direction (as you look up at it). The warmer it is, the higher the speed should be. During the winter, your fan should run at a low speed in a clockwise direction."
